Spike/Fred

I was hoping someone here could help me.  I remember a series in which Spike and Fred started out friends and got involved with each other.  I am not positive but I think eventually Wes became involved too.  I know they joked about all of their names starting with W and that they had allbeen geeks.  I think it started out with them watching a soccer game together.

I vaguely remember reading something like that, but I can't rememeber what it was called or who wrote it.

The Cold Dead Seed forums have a big list of Spike/Fred fics here, maybe it's one of them?

I quickly looked over the fics on this site and didn't find any that sounded like it, but thanks so much for your help.

The more I think about it I think the series even had some Angel/Spike and angel/spike/wes in it. I am thinking the one with the three of them was because Fred wanted Spike and Wes to find out who was stealing her ice cream and it turned out to be Angel.
