don't you hate it when you can remember every freakin detail of a fic except for who wrote the damned thing? I do this a lot and it infuriates me lol

yes, Spike is still the Slayer of Slayers, but he works for the Watchers Council because he was 'created' by them to take care of turned Slayers. Yes, Buffy has been turned. Kendra predicts his arrival and when he meets Buffy and finds out that turned Slayers keep their souls, it goes against everything the council led him to believe. Big drama...yada yada
