Looking for a fic -- I read it not that long ago, but where it is and who wrote it I can't recall.

The First prevailed and Buffy was lost in the final battle. Spike survived, and he and Xander and Willow now live up north in an enclave of survivors, where they attempt to fight back the powers of darkness. Willow has gone on her annual hunt for magical tomes and survivors, but is late returning, and winter is closing in. But she does return after all, and has found Giles. May not sound like much as I describe it, but it's a wonderful future-fic that left me wanting more, and now I can't find the dang thing! May have a touch of Spike/Xander about it -- can't remember well enough to be sure.

Ring a bell with anyone? And thank goodness for this site, or I would be soooo mopey about great stories that I can't find.

Does anyone know this story. Buffy runs away from a place called Traders COrner? She goes to Las Vegas where she wins 2 million dollars at Spike casin 'The Crypt'. She and Spiek get close but he keeps trying to push her away. Oh! and she gets very close with his family and they all lover her. Spikes family+Friends are as follows (to the best I can remember anyway!) Joyce-Mom, Giles-Dad, Xander-Lawyer. Thats all I can remember, if you could tell me where this fic is that'd be great. Thanx

A season 5 fic

Hi!

Today, I'm trying to remember a fic set in season 5 with Glory. I remember that Glory does manage to feed off of Spike's mind, leaving him child-like. I'm pretty sure that in this fic, Buffy's house is blown up (not set on fire by the Knights).

Also, and I'm less sure of this, but I think that Spike tricks Glory into believing that Buffy was the key, and the she's killed Buffy (so the key is gone).

Sound familiar anyone?
