Spike is living in LA, and Dawn shows up at his door, running from a situation if Rome in which she accidentally killed The Immortal. She thinks Buffy blames her. Meanwhile, Buffy is frantically looking for Dawn, and tracks her as far as LA, so assumes she is with Spike (Spike and Buffy have had no contact since Spike closed the Hellmouth). Spike has carefully hidden his whereabouts, however. Buffy goes to Xander's for help. He's a drunk living alone and at first just wants her to leave, then gives her Spike's address and decides to come with her. That's all I remember. Might be a WIP, but maybe not. Can anyone help?
