I'm looking for a short story that I think is a couple of years old.

Buffy accidently stakes Spike in the middle of a fight and the writer stopped the action so well while so many events and regrets flash through before Buffy's eyes as Spike falls to the ground undusted because she actually missed his heart.

I have no clue where I found it or who wrote it. Any ideas.
