mdwstdncr.livejournal.comHi there! I'm new to this community and I am desperate to find these fics. I am looking for a specific author/stories that I read a while ago. The 2 stories I remember the most are both multi-chapter fics and Spuffy.
I know one of the stories is set during Dead Things (but I think it may be a slightly different take on it). It starts out as a pretty dark fic. It deals with Buffy spiralling further into the darkness- for example she beats up weak informant demons and steals their money, she even begs Spike to make her a vampire so that she doesn't have to look in the mirror at herself. She eventually breaks up with Spike. Tara is her confidant and helps her stay strong. Buffy finally takes control of her life- she sells the house and her and Dawn move into an apartment. She and Spike end up getting back together (it is a romance after all). I think that Willow may be a bad character in this but I can't remember for sure (I remember a story where Willow has a special magical artifact- I believe it is a stone/gem heart of some kind and she uses it to make Buffy forget about Spike- but that may be a different story all together- I hope this isn't confusing!)
The second story is set after season 6. Spike comes back as a human. Willow has gone pure evil and is working with Warren. Spike, Buffy, and Dawn form the good triad able to combat Willow/Warren (I believe this is about a prophecy). I know that Dawn taps into her mystical key powers and is able to spy on Willow. I remember that there is a scene with Buffy and Spike where they go to a carnival or fair for a "first date" and they win each other stuffed dogs. I am pretty sure that Anya and Giles fall in love in this story as they help the new "triad" to prepare for the battle.
The author has written a few other stories as well, but these are the two that I remember the most.
