Lost two fics

Okay, so, I'm looking for two fics. Here's to hoping that y'all recognize at least one of them. :]

I originally read these years ago, in either 2002 or 2003. I believe that they were both on FF.net, at the time.

1. Spuffy, takes place in the middle of season 5. I think it starts with "Spiral" and leaps off into AU from there. Anyway, the gang heads out of town in the RV - the Knights attack them while their traveling. I have a distinct memory of Spike grabbing a sword with his bare hands. They lose the Knights, they camp out in the woods for the night. Eventually they end up in a hotel somewhere. Memorable scenes include Spike in a grocery store with Dawn, using his bumpies to scare a cashier (possibly allowing them to steal?), and Buffy and Spike getting it on in a hotel pool.

2. Primarily Spuffy (..I think). I can't for the life of me remember when it takes place, but here's the big thing - Xander gets bitten by a vampire, and is meant to be turned. Spike overrides the other vamp's claim with his own, so Xander ends up as Spike's Childe rather than some random minion. Hot vampire sex with some Anya on the side ensues. Found! The Witch, The Warrior, and The Vampire, by Brandi. Thank you!

These are both long, chaptered fics, and focus on much more than just romance. I remember loving them, and it would be fantastic to read them again.

I am looking for 2 fics that I haven't read in, maybe, three years, possibly four.

#1 Summary:

Buffy and Spike are high school sweethearts. They have sex, and she gets pregnant. They are seniors in high school, and Spike gets accepted to a school in new york to be a writer of some sort. Angel, Darla, Willow, Faith, Gunn, Xander, and other characters are in the story and they are there when Spike leaves. He leaves because Buffy tells him to go. Well, everyone knows that she is pregnant except Spike. Five years later, Buffy and her friends are a successful band and Buffy has an interview. Well, the interviewer turns out to be Spike. And he finds out that she has a daughter that is five years old. And he asks her who the father is. And she tells him that if he really doesn't know, then he should go see his father (Giles) tomorrow.

It's called "Mending a Broken Heart" or "To Mend a Broken Heart". I am not sure. I have only gotten the title from a couple of people. It used to be on a website that had to relocate and I can't seem to find the story in their new location.


That's all I remember...Can anyone help me????
