Once More, With More Clarity (Hopefully)

samara-007.livejournal.comOkay, so I've looked everywhere and asked everyone I could elsewhere, so I am going to try here one more time. The fic I am looking for is quite old. I think the author's name had the word grey or gray in it, but that could be my imagination. I'm going to try to be more clear with what I remember...
I'm not sure which season it's set in. Joyce is dead, and Dawn is there, and I don't think Buffy has died, but I'm not sure. Buffy and Spike are working together, they have sex, and she gets pregnant. They are attacked by some kind of vampire or demon, and she refuses to fight, he yells at her that he needs help, and she yells back that she is pregnant and afraid of the baby getting hurt. He kills the bad guy and they go on from there. They both move into the Summers house, and I think Willow and Tara are living there as well, but I could be wrong. I really, really wish I could remember who or what the major bad guy is, but I just don't. I do remember that something is after Buffy and the baby. There is an original character, who I think was a god, who shows up to help every now and then. Somewhere in there, Xander and Anya get married, have a big wedding, and everyone gives them money.
Towards the end, Angel and company show up, and we find out that the god has been showing up in L.A. to, but instead of being nice and helping, he's been minorly tormenting them. I remember Buffy saying they should call him for help, and Cordelia says something like "Why would we do that unless we really feel like getting shoved up a wall?"
The big battle begins just as Buffy goes into labor (of course). It gets kind of complicated here. In the world of the big battle, Buffy dies in childbirth, everyone gets vamped, and Spike goes crazy with grief. Just before Buffy dies, though, the god character shows up and switches Spike and Buffy with the Spike and Buffy of another dimension, with healthy baby in tow. Both Buffy and Spike are concerned that "It won't be my Spike/Buffy" but of course it is. Willow, Tara, etc. from the new world are suprised that Spike and Buffy suddenly have a baby, and go out and buy baby stuff. The last thing I remember is the baby exhibiting special powers. I don't know if it was ever finished.
I don't think the website I found it on was any of the ones that are popular now. At least it didn't look like any of them. There was another fic on that site that I HAVE seen elsewhere, but of course I can't remember the title of that one either....It's the one where the gang fights an epic battle to restore the balance, and at the end Buffy has the choice to vanquish all vampires from the world or to leave things as they are and she chooses to leave them as they are because otherwise Spike would die. There is an angel involved, and he and Dawn have a mild flirtation. I am only mentioning this one in case it could help figure out the website the other one was on.....
Please, please, this is driving me crazy! Any ideas at all would be welcome!
