Looking for a fic

edgemeadgirl.livejournal.comThis is so embarrasing, because I remember the fic really well, but cannot remember the author or anything. I would have read it on BSV, EF or SR.
Not sure of the season it's set in, but I think it's before Buffy and Spike start sleeping together. For some or other reason they are sucked into another dimension/AU/world which is ruled by vampires.
They are both sent into some wild underground caves/tunnels and they must try and survive, working together while being attacked by some crazy creatures, including a large slug-like creature which is determined to suck out Buffy's soul.
Just as they are close to death they are rescued by a funny digging character who drags them into his safe caves. The digger has been there for years and cannot dig 'up' which is why he is still stuck there. While in these caves Buffy and Spike find some beautiful warm pools and this is where they end up making love for the first time.
Spike find a crystal in his pocket placed there by a very senior female vamp who suggests that they work together in killing Buffy, and in return she will reward him on his return with money/power or something.
Eventually (can't remember how) they are returned above ground, we discover Spikes true loyalties, a huge battle is fought, all ends well and Spike and Buffy decide to go to Africa for a break together before returning to Sunnydale.
The fic was well written, imaginitive descriptive and I am kicking myself for not favouriting it. Any help would be great. Thanks.
