Ok so this is about as vague as they come but...

Buffy and Spike have started dating and Buffy has a kid (a girl, i think). anyways they're going somewhere and Spike is all excited because he put child locks in the car and he's never had a use for them before. The kid thinks the door's stuck because apparently the door of buffy's car is always stuck...

You know when you just get a scene from a fic stuck in your head and you can't remember for the life of you where it's from? whatever it is i think it's probably been a few years since i read it......

It's shown up here a few times before, but it's been long enough that I wasn't able to find it in a quick scan of the last hundred or so entries (and I suspect I'm going to be doing some *headdesk*ing when someone comes up with the answer... because I KNOW I should know it).

The story has to do with a Gathering (I may have the name wrong), where Sunnydale is being overrun with demons coming for the Balance... when the representatives of good and of evil are judged or weighed or something. There are angels in town (I remember that Gabriel shows up as a young boy from Dawn's school that she has a crush on), including the Angel of Death who is intent on killing Spike. At the beginning of the fic, Spike receives a visit from a Messenger (who arrives by bicycle) to tell him about the Gathering (or whatever it's called).

Any ideas as to the title and author?
