On the off chance that anyone will know what I'm talking about with my rather vague description, I'm looking for a fic that I can only remember one part from and only a small portion of that scene.

What I can remember is that Wes (I believe) has a blue (I think) ball/spark of electricity/power/magic that he now has with him almost all of the time. The part I can remember is someone (I think Angel, although it might be Giles) makes him put it out because he keeps zapping people with it (I believe they're in the Magic Box), and Wes feels lonely and there's something about how his power comforts him.

Sorry that it's so vague, but I can't seem to find this fic anywhere, and I remember reading it and liking it!

This is a first time posting for me so I hope I am using the right site. There are two stories I am looking for.

1. Spike is living in Xander's apartment (in his closet I believe) in the beginning. For some reason he leaves in the middle of the story. At the end Xander calls Spike, they talk and Spike decides to come back. The evening when Spike comes back Anya is there (Xander is asleep and she overheard the earlier conversation on the phone), she thinks Spike is there to take Xander away from her. Spike says that he is part of a birthday gift Xander is getting for her. In the morning Anya and Xander are having an argument, Spike overhears, he decides to leave again but Xander and Anya stop him. All three of them end up together.

2. Tara and Willow are together. Tara dated a guy by the name of William back home but he died before she went to Sunnydale. She starts to have feelings for Spike and she things that somehow part of William ended up in Spike (soul perhaps). Spike starts to like her as well but he tells her that he does not want to come in between her and Willow. Tara talks to Willow to let her know what she is feeling (she still loves Willow), Spike goes to the dorm one night to talk to Tara but is confronted by Willow (Tara is not there), Tara comes back and all three of them talk. The next day at the Magic Box Spike goes to sit on the stairs but Willow and Tara follow him sitting there as well. Xander and Buffy are shocked.

I know this is not all that much to go on and I might be thinking of more than one story for each but I hope someone can help.
