Trying to remember a Spuffy fic

I feel as though I really should know this one, and am hoping someone will recognise it from the fragment that has been nagging at me all weekend, so that I can go Doh! of course that's it!

Buffy is fighting the big bad presumably in the hellmouth (who might or might not be The First Evil's chosen minion) and I think they both have equal but opposite swords (hers good, his evil). The fight actually takes place between two giant avatars that represent Buffy and the BB (I think hers is a bird). Spike is somehow giving her energy but it's not enough and so Giles and the Scoobies join hands with Spike to give him their energy and he knows whose energy he's getting by the colour and feel of it. I think the last to join the chain is Dawn and her key energy makes all the difference in the fight.

Can't think of any other information that puts this in a particular season, or what has been in the build up to this, but I hope someone recognised it and can give it a name.
