Historical Spangel

There is a Spangel - in fact it may be two - that I keep trying to find. Spike is in LA and he tells Angel that Angel can't find redemption by helping strangers - and ignoring the ones he really hurt, the ones he turned. The basic premise is that Angel had been grooming Spike and the Dru turned him, and Angel was furious - he never forgave Spike for letting Dru turn him.

This may be a scene from a much longer fic that begins when Spike is a child in a poorhouse - he goes to school and ends up allowing a teacher to have sex with him in order to save a friend. Later he's a messenger boy - and Angel kills his best friend.
