a Xander's real father series

Greetings, all! As usual my brain comes up with the urge to reread a certain series and it gets stuck on one or two details; but I can't come up with author, title, website, or in this case crossover. So I come here for help. Scene stuck in head: Xander (or was it Willow? Nah, I'm 90% sure it was Xander) has recently met his real father (Chris Larabee? Jethro Gibbs? Jack O'Neill?) and he's staying at Dad's house while the man is at work. Xander gets an emergency call in the middle of the night from a young newbie Slayer. Her house is under attack. Xander hotwires Daddy's car and by the time he gets to the girl, her parents are dead and her house is on fire. Xander and the girl stay at Dad's house (wounded, dirty, and smelling of smoke) for a day or two before getting her to the Watchers (Cleveland?). Xander refuses to give his new-found father an explanation of what's happening, sparking his infamous temper. Dad sets his team to investigating son, his friends, and Sunnydale, coming up with some disturbing answers and possibly a visit from some military types telling them to drop it. (That last part is in so many stories it my not even be a part of this one.)

I don't think it's a Magnificent 7 xover (I'm right in the middle of reading one where Xan's dad is Ezra Standish so Team 7 in on my mind) but Larabee does have the temper I recall. I'm leaning more toward Stargate or NCIS but I'm not 100% sure. Ring any balls for anyone?

Spuffy has a daughter and then Buffy leaves because of Hank threats

I'm looking for a fic where Buffy and Spike have a daughter together and one day Buffy leaves and she doesn't come back for a long time. When she does come back she is walking the streets and runs into a teenage girl and decides to help her get home. When she gets her home Spike comes out the front door and he sees Buffy and she makes the connection that this is her daughter. Eventually Spike learns that it's Buffy's father that made her leave in the first place so she could protect both of them from him. Any help please?! :)
