Xander focused fic

So I have a very vague memory of this fic. I'm pretty sure that it was Spike/Xander but the only thing I can remember clearly is Xander talking to someone else.
He states something very close to this:
"Some guy once said you can have a hot lover, a fast car or a cool apartment, but not all three at once. I'm waiting for the house to burn down because Spike isn't going to leave me."
He might have been talking to Angel. I think the conversation started because Xander was a little worried about how happy he is, since that never seems to last long.
