I haven't read any Spuffy in a while, so when I went back to read some my links were bad. I'm wondering if these fics are posted anywhere else. They were all on Buffy & Spike Diaries, but now I can't find them. They're all non-magic Human AUs.I've never used a cut before, so I hope I did it right.

1) Spike is a racecar driver who crashes in a race. Buffy gave him an ultimatum, her or racing, and he left to race. He goes to Sunnydale to recover and they rekindle their relationship. There were a lot of OCs who were in a band. A band member is knifed and I think he dies. Spike is blind in one eye after the crash.They get together at the end and have a daughter. Spike retires and becomes Faith's crew cheif

2)Buffy lives in New York and is working as a waitress. Angel was killed years earlier and Joyce sent Buffy to an institution because she wasn't handling the death well. Joyce is married to Giles, Spike is his son. Spike and Buffy live together in NY and they form a relationship. Joyce freaks out about it and kicks them both out.

3)Buffy goes to England to find the author of series of books. The title has Aurora in it. She tracks him to some small town, Faith is there as a cashier. He lives by himself off in the woods. I remember there being a lot of British phrases that Buffy doesn't understand when they first meet. He had a motorcyle in the driveway. Dru divorced him, but he still has her clothes in the closet, Buffy sees them and says something about Donna Karen being 'so last season'.

4) Spike was a guitar player in a famous band with Xander and Oz. Buffy was their replacement singer and Dawn was their replacement drummer. Buffy faints during the first show and Spike freaks out, he throws an amp. Spike is Ethan Rayne's son, Ethan sends him company shirts. Spike is a recovering alcoholic.

I hope somebody knows where these fics are. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!!

Ok, #3 I'm sure I've read before and I remember liking it, probably read it on BS diaries too (so sad that the place is down). I'm wasn't sure about the title or the author but you mentioning the story made me want to read it again. So, after some digging around I think maybe this is the story: Aphrodite and the Lost Scribe

There is another one that isn't really an AH (to help in the search). Its from the Spiral Universe and Buffy goes chasing after Spike the author becasue it resonates with her Slayer past. Spike is human but haunted too. Arrgh!
