seeking_spikeHey, I have a friend looking for an old Spuffy AU fic, and I am drawing a blank as to what it might be.
Spike was some kind of super engineered ultimate soldier, and Buffy was maybe a doctor, or someone else whose job it was to study him. Spike had been treated like an animal and didn't really have fully developed emotional skills. My friend thinks the fic was probably unfinished. Does anyone else remember this one?

One day she is employed by a secret faction of the Government to work with a man who has no true identity, a man raised to be a killing machine for his country. She is brought to him to teach him socialization skills, and finds much more than she bargained for. Based on a story I read a few years ago about a man being trained on a secret govt. base, titled Nowhere Man by Rebecca York. All credit to that author.
