This is gonna be one of those, OMG i should have known that things. I know this is by an author that i've read/or continue to read but the name and title escape me and I just can't seem to find it.

During/Post NFA, the slayers, Buffy and Scoobies show up for the battle. Angel gets burned (by the dragon?) and bites one of the slayers (Rhona?)  and heals himself. Andrew sees it happen but gets knocked out so he can't tell anyone. They all go back to a manion(?) where a Coven also resides. Angel's soul is either gone or shoved to the side and he ends up calling a demon to distract the scoobies while he starts killing slayers and the coven. There are some Giles/Willow interactions (UST, lust and magic) Toward the end Angel is found out, Willow and Giles use magic to encase him in the earth/turn into a tree (? I remember something about bark, lol) Angel ends up getting banished to the Deeper Well to take Drogan's place.
