Missing fic with an artist Spike

Hi,

I've never posted here before.  I hope it's ok to do so.

I read a few chapters of this fic some time ago, but got interrupted, forgot about it and failed to bookmark it.  All I remember is that it's Post-Chosen, Spike has dark hair, amnesia and is painting pictures of Buffy on buildings all over a city and Xander finds him.  Does anyone know what the title is, who wrote it and where I could find it?  I remember it being very good and would like to reread and finish it, but I've lost track of it!   Any help would be greatly appreciated, it's bugging me that I can't remember.

That sounds like "The Color of Devotion" by rikki_oko. Problem is, she took it down. I think she plans on rewriting it?

Ooooh. That's it, I think! Thank you. But...oh no, she took it down? I'm sad. I wonder if it would annoy her or be impolite to email and ask about it?

I would think that she'd like to hear from someone who appreciates her work. Perhaps if she knows people are waiting for this particular fic, she'll post the rewrite faster. :)

mad_brilliant got here first, but I *love* that one. I don't think she's the kind of gal to take offense, y'know, unless you shouted at her & threw rocks. ;)
