This is going to be almost impossible for anyone to recognize since the description is verrry vague. Nevertheless, if anyone can figure out which fic this is, then it would be you lovely people here.

Spike is in either a coma or just unresponsive. He might have been traumatize, or beaten up. Anyway, Buffy goes into his mind to reach him and sees a lot of disturbing images, some of which might have been how brutal Angelus treated him.

It sounds like you're looking for "Sympathy for the Devil" by Comedy of Errors.

Unfortunately, she pulled all her fics for personal reasons. Not sure if using The Wayback Machine will come up with anything. Maybe someone will have it on their computer. :)

Wow, you're fast! "Sympathy For the Devil" might very well be the one, but I have read it, and although it fits the description, I could have sworn there is another fic out there (perhaps it was on AdultFanfiction) that was a lot more dark. I could be wrong.

Sorry to hear she pulled her fics. I love her stories.

I tried your link and went to a slayernet site. tried again by erasing some of the url and got to bloodshed home page but the story link was all coding.
was using safari so I tries firefox. still just get coding and no story. any ideas?
