10 years after Chosen

There's that fic that haunts me.

I forgot the title and the author but I think it's fairly recent.
The action is somewhat ten years after chosen.
Spike is alive but lives almost alone somewhere on a mountain.
Buffy decides to go see him and she walks up the mountain to him.
They spend a few days together possibly  speaking ot the past and then she goes back to her life.

I think there is also a sequel to that fic.

I really need to read that fic.

GAH! I know which one you're asking about! He went to, like, Alaska with Illyria and has been living alone on a mountain for years when Buffy just shows up!

I keep thinking it's Dutchbuffy but I can't find it online.

I'll keep looking, though.

Thanks for your help but I don't think that's the one.
It's more like Spike retreated there to live sort of a monk life.
The author has her own livejournal and the story was there.
She said it wasn't intended to be in any way sexual but it was sort of a philosophical approcach to what Spike went through. Anyway sort of...
The story wasn't intended to end with Spike and Buffy together. Maybe the sequel...

Just in case these are still niggling at your brain (I know these things do that to me) The Dutchbuffy fic came to my mind too - it's Mountain Dew (http://home.planet.nl/~dutchbuffy2305/series.htm). The one where Spike goes to Alaska with Illyria is anaross's Nevertime.

YES! I remembered Mountain Dew and probably conflated the stories a little. THANK YOU! I really loved Nevertime but couldn't remember, for the life of me, who wrote it or what it was called!

Are you thinking of shadowkat67? She wrote a few chapters of something along those lines but she doesn't tag anything so you'd literally have to search her entire journal to find it.
