Looking for a Spuffy fic

 I am looking for a spuffy fic that I am sure I read at The Spuffy Realm.  I just spent  two hours going over the completed works there and could not find it.  I am guessing that it is a WIP.   It's been months since I read it and for some reason I forgot to bookmark it.

If my memory is correct it starts right after Season two ends.  I believe Drusilla is distraught over what happened with  Angelus and she jumps out of the car into the daylight and dusts.   So Spike is grieving.  Buffy has run away and meets Spike on the road.  She of course is grieving the loss of Angel.  Many scenes were set in hotel rooms or in the desoto.

Does this sound familiar to anyone?

It kinda sounds like "Death, Desotos and Dreams" by Bloodshebaby.

She pulled some of her fics for editing a while back....not sure if she's re-posted them yet.

Dreams and Desotos by Bloodshedbaby is very good, but that's not it. That one is posted at the bloodshedverse and I did go over it again quickly to make sure. They are similar. Thanks for the reply though.

Looks like a great story and I will probably end up reading it, but it's not the one I'm looking for. I know for sure that he did not have a soul in the fic I'm looking for.

I guess the there are a lot of good Spuffy stories set after season two ended.

More details are coming to me now: I think Buffy gets off a bus at night when the bus stops for a break at a McDonalds. Spike just happens to be there.

I know they are both depressed in the story at I think they both try at times to get the other to kill each other.

Is it in multiple parts, one where he and post season 2 Buffy meet and go to a motel room? And then a part where Spike and Buffy meet at Willie's after Joyce's death. They drink for a while, he goes home with her, there's a lot of smut, then he lives with them for a bit before being sent away with Dawn while Buffy goes to fight Glory. Then a WIP in which he comes back months after Buffy's resurrection after being run off by Willow and prevented from seeing Dawn.

I'm not sure the name of all these, but I've a feeling the motel one is called 'Open All Night.'
