seeking_spikeOkay I could have sworn that I fic searched this once before but after scouring the calender for any old posts I found a lot of OTHER more different posts (which, yay) but not this one.
It's a Spuffy fic where Spike gets sent back in time to like...Season 2 just before the Gem of Amara episode. He starts trying to take care of Buffy instead of hurting her since he's already in love with her, and like...the one part that stands out in my head is when Joyce gets sick and she's about to have her aneurysm at the house, Spike (whose managed to Link them all together) feels it and saves her by slashing open the side of her head.
Any ideas?
EDIT: Okay, let me try this again. The story I'm looking for starts out with Spike (making a wish? Getting caught up in some whoa!mojo?) and ending up in Season 2 "School Hard". He vanquishes his own minions realizing that (his wish?) came true. I think he has a conversation with Angel a little like, "wait...did I get to the yoda part yet?" The next part I remember is in an accelerated Season 4's "Harsh Light of Day" because Spike goes and gets the Gem early along with all the other treasure for Joyce's life insurance plan and the gallery. He also puts a familial claim over Dawn, Buffy and Joyce which is why for Season's 5's "The Body" Spike saves Joyce so she doesn't die.
