can anybody help me find the fic where Buffy gets sent back in time to 1890 London and William finds her in an alley, then takes her home? I think he thinks she's a prostitute or something similar. She may or may not have hurt her ankle and he takes her to his house in his carriage. Vague, I know! Anyone?

I'm looking around for it, but I can tell you that I read it a while back when the only archive I even knew about was BSV. It may not have transferred to the new site, but that is definitely where I read it. I remember because Will's mother lends Buffy a dress to go to a party with him. If I find it I will let you know.

There've been many. The only one I can name offhand is herself's in which season 6 Buffy gets sent back in time by the nerds. And she is a prostituute when she spots William. He and a friend first take her to a bar where she convinces him that she was a friend of one of his sisters and he takes her home. And she is pregnant with William's child by the time she returns to the future.

Yeah, the series is heavy on the Bitter and light on the Sweet. And resurrected Buffy stays messed up and abusive for many years to come.

Hmm, can tell you that so far it's neither Shadows of the Past nor In the Dark with me (that one isn't even TimeTravel if I remember correctly).

In fact, I'm pretty sure that I've never seen the "I'm from Ireland" comment before. That's so unrealistic, I'm positive I'd have remembered it.

However, last time she played copy and paste, she took Jerzey's fic and slapped on a different ending; so she might have written a beginning to which she'll add a stolen fic later... Who knows.. Prolly good to keep an eye on any further chapters she might submit. And how dumb is that chick anyway? To submit a second fic after being caught stealing the last time? Ugh! Great way to start out the new year.

It could be a fragment from Ariane's To Dream Again. The plot of this fic is very complex (and devilishly clever). In the beginning of season 3 Buffy wishes Spike were human and he turns into William. They satrt to fall for each other, but Giles sends William back in 1880, where he dreams about Buffy.... until she reappears in his life, sent back in time after her death in The Gift. She spends with William "147 days" then returns to the present. After losing her William intentionally becomes a vampire "to go through the oceans of time" and to meet Buffy again. Tha action jumps back and forth, and culminates in their reunion post-Chosen...

There is a scene where William meets Buffy in an alley and brings her home. Unfortunately, Ariane's page doesn't exist anymore - but I saved To Dream Again on my HD and I can send it to you. It's really worth reading!
