Spuffy Time Travel

I keep looking all over for a time travel fic but I can't remember the author or title. Buffy from after Chosen is sent back to some time in Season Six, but I can't remember exactly when.

The scene that really stands out to me is when she and Spike are making love. Afterwards the vampire is scenting her hair, her skin, apologizing when he realizes she's awake and tells her that the demon is memorizing her so he'll always know her. So that he won't "hurt the girl" and using that phrase reminds Buffy of when he got his soul for her and how horrified and ashamed and desperate he was to not "hurt the girl" again. She tells him she knows he won't.

It's been so long, I don't even remember if it's a WIP or not when I read it, but I wanted to read that fic again because I know Buffy kept thinking about Spike after he got the soul and thinking it was ok that he didn't have it, because he could love her and the demon wouldn't hurt her, soul or not. If anyone recognizes this, please post!

I just finished reading that and Buffy was sent back to the first or second season but it is a fantastic story and I loved the ending alot. The comments about hurt the girl are never mentioned at all. I LOVE this site!

I really have no idea since it was originally O_bugger looking for it but I am definitely wanting to read it now, too. Lol. I absolutely love time travel fics and they are my fave to read. I may start looking at time travel categories at all the sites I visit. I'll get back if I find it myself as well.

That's it! Thanks so much. Looking through all the time travel fics for this one was fun in itself but I just wanted to read that one scene again and it was driving me crazy. Thanks to everyone who responded but especially to uri6!
