I found this story a long time ago through a link from a link on a rec page, so I'm having some trouble finding it now!

The story takes place in Season 6, I believe during the birthday episode "Older and Far Away."  Spike decides to do some laundry while at Buffy's house, and she finds him standing in his undies waiting for his clothes to dry.  He plays an old record of Gladys Knight and The Pips and convinces Buffy to dance with him, and he does the "woo-woo" arm motion like they're pulling the train whistle, sending Buffy into hysterical giggles.  Then there was some lovely smut!

I know, it sounds really crazy, but it was really a very good story!  If it rings anyone's bells, please let me know!

it's "Young and Coming" by wisteria who is one of the better writers i've read during the time when BtVS was still showing. wisteria is no longer writing in the buffyverse and her website is no longer up, but most of her works are in the wayback archive. young and coming can be found here (http://web.archive.org/web/20031223144700/www.alanna.net/btvs/young-and-coming.htm).

Yes, I'd figured it out with some help, but was despairing because wisteria's website was no longer around. I don't know much about the wayback machine, so I'll have to look into that, but thank you so much for the link!
