Apr. 1st, 2008 10:54 amHey guys, I have had trouble looking for a Spuffy fic, that starts I think pre chosen around christmas time, and then goes to christmas with season five angel. It also goes a few months to NFA. I think it has Spike just after he is rescued in Buffy season 7, and he is depressed I think. Then jumps ahead to Angel season five around christmas that year too, Spike I think, has thoughts of Buffy. Then at NFA he has thoughts that he might finally go out with a bang. After NFA he ends up in Cleveland with Buffy, not exactly a good relationship. Buffy smacks him right in the nose thinking that he will be leaving her alone in Cleveland, but Spike won't, he just says he doesn't want to start "that again". Meaning their old relationship, Buffy is like "Start what?" Spike then gets uncomfortable.
The story then skips a few months to Christmas again, Spike is with Buffy after a party. She is drunk, and comes on to him in his bedroom, or her bedroom. She says "Why he doesn't want her anymore ?" And "Responds no, it's the right time or place yet."
And I think she gets upset.
The story goes into the new year and a few months later, they have a better relationship, and the end up together.
I think the theme of the story is Spike is depressed or lost something, but gains it back.
That's all I have.
I have no idea where I found the story at all, I think it was published around Christmas. But I could even be wrong about that.
