Hi! I was hoping someone might be able to help me out in finding two stories.
Story #1: This is the story that I was sure was called "Daylight" but I don't remember by who. I believe the title may have been changed. I remember it began with Spike visiting Joyce's grave and deciding to wait for the sunlight. As I recall it, Buffy finds him and is too late to even begin to try saving him. Except for a surprise - Spike doesn't burn up in the sunlight. Giles explains it later, but that's all I can remember. I keep thinking it's on fanfiction.net, but I can't seem to find it.
Story#2: I don't know the title to this story. This is after Seeing Red and probably post-Grave. It's a story in which Spike never returns to Sunnydale. Instead, Buffy finds him in New York with another man, who is Spike's boyfriend. I remember that his boyfriend wanted to be turned, but Spike kept refusing (although, this might have been in its sequel), and so his boyfriend got himself turned by someone else and then Spike had to stake him, except he did it in a manner that reminded Buffy of the way she killed Angel. It's kind of spuffy, but more slash than not. He did go back to Sunnydale with Buffy after she found him. His boyfriend followed him to Sunnydale.
