I'm looking for once fic in particular. I have no idea what it is called or who it is by. I think I read it about 4 years ago.

All I remember is that it is set in Season 4, while Spike is still chained in the bathtub. He vomits over the side of the tub and Giles thinks something is really wrong because he says that vampires never vomit unless something is really wrong. I think there may have been a book involved somehow, like a book from Spike's childhood or something.

I know it's a long shot, but does anyone have any idea what I might be thinking of?

I definitely read this story, though I cannot remember the title.

I sounds like something by SaberShadowKitten or Chelle Storey, but I'm not sure. Was it het, gen or slash?

I'm pretty sure it was a het fic, since I don't think I was into slash back then.
