Spuffy fic - Buffy doubts Spike

seeking_spikeI'm trying to remember which Spuffy fic has a part where Spike is being very secretive, because he is going to LA to get identity papers, and wants to surprise Buffy.
While he is out of town, some attacks occur, and the Scoobies begin to suspect Spike. Buffy also starts to waver. When Spike returns, they don't completely believe him until they talk to Wesley.
I believe that this is part of a very long fic. Can anybody help?
