Season 6 fic

This is from so long ago, I can only remember -- post resurrection,  with Spike's help Buffy keeps her return secret, Tara and Dawn are part of the plan (they grow closer).  Spike gets a fine old house for them all to live in - hassle from the Scoobies and Angel. There's assistance from the Sunnydale office of W&H,(could be Lilah)  Then I think there's foster care for Dawn.  Possibly unfinished.  I hope this jogs a memory or two.

Could you be thinking of Twists of Fate (http://www.athenewolfe.com/midnight/tofmain.html) by Athenewolfe and Tasha, and sequel to Athenewolfe's Me And A Gun (http://www.athenewolfe.com/midnight/MeandaGun.html)? It sounds very similar except that in this one the secret Spike's helping Buffy keep is that she's been turned, and the foster care for Dawn is a fake out.
