Hey, guys,

Since you've helped out with my previous query, here's a tougher one for you. I've no idea what happens in this Spuffy story at all, except that in part of it, Giles is surreptitiously watching Spike & Buffy somewhere (near his crypt?) and Spike embraces Buffy from behind, putting his hands over her stomach, and Giles thinks that it is such an intimate gesture, they must be involved.

Anyone?? :)

That's Journeys by Mary (I believe the scene you're describing is in book II) You can find it in numerous places, the BSV and a few other archives.

Yes, that is definitely "Journeys: Awakenings," a series I've read so many times I could quote large sections of it. The third book is unfinished, but the series is most completely found at allaboutspike.com, the site now defunct and no longer updating but there to stay as an archive.
