Hi everybody, I need some help. I just found this community and thought maybe someone could help me finding a fic I read a loooong time ago. I don't know why, but I was thinking about it today.

I don't exactly remember the details of how it happened, but pre-chip Spike and Buffy ended up captured and prisoners in the same cell. Like I said, I'm vague on the details but of course, things developed between them while they were locked up together. Rings a bell?

While I'm at it, there's also another one that I've been trying to remember for a while now. Buffy was having nightmares, or she just couldn't sleep--not sure--but Spike helped her by reading to her every night. I remember she went on a trip to New York with the Scoobies and he gave her a cell phone so she could call him before going to bed so he could read to her while she was away.

Not too much joy in finding the last fic I asked about (blood pressure rising steadily now!) but as I was about to doze off last night I remembered another one which I think is by the same author. And no, can't find this either!

Season 5. Post Crush (and possibly Intervention) Buffy gives Spike a choice - he can have a boink with her or be her friend. He goes the friendship route and becomes her lieutenant in the fight against Glory. He jumps off the tower to save them all in The Gift (planned by them all) but they forget him and leave his broken body behind. It's a bit 'every night I save him' after that as far as I can recall.

Ring any bells? Desperation levels rising here, folks!

Good tool to find old fics

Hi, I found the fics I was asking about last night. The first one is Prisoners by kass shakespeare and the other one is Sweet Dreams by Meredith. My only problem now is that the link to Prisoners was broken and I couldn't find it anywhere else. If you know a site that might have it, let me know.

Also, I thought you guys might be interested since this is a community to find old fics. The site I used to find those fics is called Wayback. You can type the address of a site that doesn't even exist anymore, and it will take you to it. Or if you want to find the earlier version of a site you like, it will give you all the versions of the site. That's how I found the old website where I remembered seeing those fics. Looking for a fic where Buffy is going with Spike to London . She isn't happy about it and the plane crashes and Spike saves her from drowning......they are lost in the wilderness for awhile until Angel and the scoobies rescue them.....I thought it was by Bloodshedbaby but she was writing under a different name? If anyone could help it would be greatly appreciated.
