Another Fic

I can't remember the season but it was a Spuffy. It was set after Angel left and Buffy was having anxiety problems that Spike was helping her through. She had to take pills for the attacks. They had to go to LA to help Angel and they (Spike and Buffy) at first were just friends who loved each other but didn't want to be shot down.

I swear I just read it this week..

I was reading a fic that had Spike and Buffy getting together after..something or other, and then she leaves him in the morning. He knows she's leaving though and he's letting her go, but he puts money and a note in her pocket saying something like, "nothing but the best for my girl....." and Buffy doesn't find it in her pocket until she's miles away.

I don't know if the fic ended there or if it was just the latest chapter written. Thanks for your help.
