Looking for an Author

I'm looking for an author who I think was named William's girl. But she had a fic where Spike and Buffy were in the desert during a war or something and Spike was attempting to gain alliance with a shiek or something and Buffy was one of the shiek's slave, worker, captive. I dunno but Buffy and Spike fell in love and were to get married. I'm sorry, its all very vague and gray any help would be great. Thanks.

I am looking for a post NPA fic where Spike is with someone else. She is a vampire that he met right after she was turned. She and Spike are out together and she goes to the ladies room and is staked by Buffy. Later Buffy brings Wilow to where Spike is to make sure he has a soul. Spike leaves and Xander finds him and gives him a letter from Giles asking him to come to the council. i cannot remember where i read this. Thought it was JustRewards but could not find
