stormy-summers.livejournal.comI was in the middle of reading this one when I accidentally trashed my browser history, including everything that I was currently reading. I didn't get very far into it, but hopefully I can give enough details. *facepalm*
It's an AU Spuffy. Buffy's sister, Dru, has died of an aneurysm, and the story starts with Buffy traveling to England to put her estate in order. Both sisters have the ability to see and hear ghosts, but where Dru embraced it as a gift and helped people, Buffy thinks of it as a curse. Buffy meets William, who is Dru's friend and lawyer, and they come out of the meeting with less than favorable impressions of each other. He's determined to make another attempt at befriending Buffy for the sake of a promise that he made to Dru.
Unfortunately, that's the last bit that I read. I'm sure that I've read a few of the author's other stories, but I can't seem to remember who it was because I've been reading a LOT of stuff the past few days. Thanks in advance!
