old epic fic

Hi, I need help finding or remembering an old epic fic.  (If its still in print)  What I remember about it is this:
It is after Chosen.  Buffy is sent through a portal? to Great Britian, and is staying with a family near some stones.  One of the people in this fic is an empath, and can change peoples feelings and emotions...as long as shes in physical contact with them.  Spike and Buffy reunite on a bridge.  This is a really long, old fic that is a wonderful read.  It goes on to the U.S and there is a great war between good and evil.

Two fics

I'm trying to find two stories:

1) Spike is cursed (something goes wrong with willow's spell at the end of season 2, maybe?) and Buffy takes care of him.  I remember he loses his soul while sitting on the couch with buffy's family?  Not much else

2) Angel and Spike are mobsters for the Master and Buffy gets taken by Spike when Angel tries to leave the "family".  Spike keeps her for himself as part of torturing angel
