Post-chosen or post-nfa, Spike loses his arm?

Does this sound familiar to anyone?  I think I saw it on Fanfiction.net, probably several years ago.  

Spike returns to Buffy, who I think is in Ohio.  Something attacks them in Buffy's home, and Spike loses an arm to a very severe gunshot wound.  He is very depressed, and at some point is kidnapped.  I remember a scene with him, and maybe also Angel, chained to pillars in some sort of arena, and Buffy is expected to save them. Spike is dressed in a suit or tux, with his sleeve tucked in the pocket.  

I think I remember the ending, but don't want to spoil it, in case it is found by anyone!

Please let me know if you recognize any of this!

I think I remember this story but I cannot figure out were I read it, and I'm sure it wasn't FFNet. Is it the one in which the enemies are duplicates of our heroes, magically enhanced, and they can't be hurt by their double? And the password at the gates was Bugger It or Bloody Hell? I stopped reading it after the arm thing because I couldn't stomach it. It surprises me that nobody answered this, because I think it was recced somewhere...

Thank you so much for replying to this, because I was beginning to wonder if I had imagined it! Now that you mention it, I think there was something about doubles of each of the heroes. If we ever do find it, I recommend reading beyond the arm part, because things to work themselves out, but with some angst in between! :)
