I've located the site you've mentioned but see nothing entitled as "the mister william series" which group of stories do you mean?

Did the wayback link I pasted not work for you? It's a series of four stories: Mr. William, Professor William, Mrs. William, and Spike William (at least, I think these are the titles). Each of the four stories is 45-50 chapters long (Mr. William is the shortest, at 34 chapters).
