Half Gifts

I have a story called 'Half-Gifts' that was saved on my hard drive a million years ago, and while transitioning to my new computer I re-read it.  I didn't save the author's name in the file, and it just kind of stops, so I think what I have saved is not the entire thing. 

Does anyone know who wrote it, where I might find it, and if it was ever completed?

I think I have the same problem. I can't remember where it came from, but I have it listed as written by Automated Alice (but with a question mark, making me think that's not right), and as a permanent/abandoned WIP. Last lines in my version read:

She sees it now. "You're a pig, Spike."
Nice. Well suits him. "Love you too, Slayer."

I doubt this is at all helpful to you, so maybe someone else has better info!

I haven't read the story, but since you have at least some of it saved, you can find a more distinctive line from it and google it(with quotation marks). Which could lead you to the fic if it's still online somewhere.

It is by Automated Alice (I think she may have another name), but to the best of my knowledge (went looking for it myself some time ago) it was never completed. It is a great fic, and actually, ending where it does works, it's just that there was obviously more fic meant to follow. I just checked my bookmarks, but I didn't find it. I'll look again when I have some time. Your quote doesn't sound like the place my copy ended; but maybe you've found even more of it - which would be wonderful.

I suppose what I had saved is all there ever was; this link is to the story I had saved, same ending. Thanks to everyone who helped me find it, especially with the author name. Also, if you ever come across more of this, please let me know!
