Fic with season 4 Buffy taking care of Spike

Hello,

I'm sure somebody will remember this fic (I mean, I should be able to remember this, but it looks like my brain is that of an old old lady)

Here goes:

Season 4, after Spike is chipped, he goes to Buffy for help, or is found by her (don't remember). She takes him in, and I'm quite sure he stays at Buffy's house.
He's really out of it, and Buffy feels protective of him. At a certain point she has to call Angel - I think that's because he isn't improving- and I clearly remember Buffy feeling jealous of Angel having the Sire-Childe connection with Spike. I think that Angel then goes back to LA, but the fic is still far from being over.

It sounds like "Return to Me" by Jypzrose, but it's not a season 4 fic. Rather, it takes place after "The Gift."

Summary: 8mos ago Spike disappeared without a trace, leaving the Scoobies behind to frantically search for him. When they are about to give up, he shows up at Buffy's house, wild, broken, and unable to speak. What happened to him, and can Buffy and Angel help him?

And me thinking it was season 4 just shows that I should start worrying about Alzheimer! :))

DreamsofSpike also has a similar story set in season 7 I believe. really, really long and has major buffy bashing in it though.
