Hi guy, I'm looking for a fic where Buffy takes her daughter Tara to a convention to see her favourite star Spike. Buffy prints out fanfic for Tara to read and reads some of the steamier ones for herself. When they first meet Spike, he's instantly enamoured with Tara and sits with her while she waits for lunch and pays for Tara and Buffy to have a picture taken with him. If you could link me, I'd be very grateful :D

That sounds just like "Acting the Part" by Pattyanne, except that Buffy's daughter's name is Melanie, not Tara...

edgehead73 is preparing to get all of Patty's stories at a site for her now that offangsandfairytales vanished.
She posts from time to time at http://groups.yahoo.com/group/fangsandfairytales/
In January she posted that she is I'm working on getting a new computer so I can start writing again.
In August she said she has computer issues again (I guess that means not having one that functions?) but I still have hope she'll write again.
Hope is the last one to die, right?
