I could kick myself for not remembering this one, seeing as I found it last year.  Ah well.   Chipped Spike stays with Giles, and Buffy has just started to be friends with Riley.  To fool Riley, everyone pretends he's Buffy's wimpy English cousin William.  It works, and there's a scene at the Bronze where the Initiative pals get rough when they think William is dancing too close to Buffy.  It's making me nuts!!  If found , I promise not to lose it again!  Thanks.

Hee! Well, it's pretty ease to be a fount of knowledge when it's your own story. LOL I'm excited to have identified one. Usually I know the story, but not the title or author and I end up waving my hands around going, "oh, oh, I know this! I know this!"
