This is one of my fav fics, but I can't remember who wrote it or the title (I can't believe I did that)
Here goes:
Set season 4 BtVS season 1 AtS
Angel calls Buffy to come and help with a case, but she broke after her left her. Buffy had been having panic attacks and has to take meds for them, and Spike had saved her from being killed by a fledge, so now they are best friends.
Spike goes to LA with Buffy. Cordilia is jealous because Buffy has cute clothing. Angel is jealous because of Spike. Doyle is jealous of the nifty gadgets the Scoobies have. Buffy and Spike stay at a ritzy hotel with a hot tub in the room.
Wesley has been vamped and he is the bad guy, I think one of the Gortch brothers is his minion. They need the ashes of powerful vamps for some reason. That's all I can remember at the moment.
