seeking_spikeOk looking for two fics, the first is the sequel to the butterfly effect by cousinjean, ( she seems to have disappeared ) and the second is one I cant remember the title to.
It goes something like this......Post chosen, Buffy finds out Spike is alive and he is less than pleased about her turning up in his life.
There is some stalking on Buffy's part and a fall from a window but the details blur at that point cos I've read a couple of similar fics.
Hope someone out there in netland can help!

Date: 2006-02-21 03:44 pm (UTC)Well, there were some ruckus regarding that author so I'm not sure the story'll ever be finished. It was all a big deal on fandom_wank and it's cause she asked for money to write her fic. After that she vanished.
cousinjean: I've gotten a lot of e-mails over the past year asking if and when I'm going to finish both Dancing Lessons and my sequel to The Butterfly Effect. Believe me when I say that nobody is more depressed about the unfinished state of my fan fiction than I am. But the cold, hard reality is that I have bills and student loans to pay, an actual paying writing career to try my damnedest to launch, and an eventual marriage to save and plan for. The simple fact is that there is no more room in my life for fan fiction. I've tried to make room. I have. But it's just not happening.
Th eother one I don't know.

Anaross' 'Long Days Journey' has post-Chosen Spike avoiding Buffy, although it isn't because he wants too. He was told he if he stayed away, she would be happy.

No, but it fit all the other criteria (and is in response to a challenge and there are several other similar fics for the same challenge).
I love 'Long Days Journey' - well worth a read whether it's the one being asked about or not - but don't think anyone fell out of a window in that. Still, the way my memory is working these days ....

I don't think Dawn was as involved and just in case... its not the one where Buffy gets shot either.
And it was definitely post chosen and possibly post NFA.
Big thanks to Spikeverse for pointing me towards Long day I somehow managed to miss that one, fantastic story.
