Hi all, I'm looking for a fic, unfortunately I know there are going to be a lot out there with the small description i have.  The only part I remeber clearly was either at the end, or near, it...possibly.  Spike and buffy are together and he buys a house so her friends have a place to visit her at.  I think he was staying at the Summer's house for a few days but i can't remeber why.  I also can't remember what season it took place in.  Any thoughts?

Edited to add some details I remebered:  The house they end up in is only a few blocks away from Joyce's, Spike put the down payment down as soon as Buffy fell in love with it, it was surrouned by trees, and it may or may not have had a mirror in the bedroom, oh, and Spike was in a hurry to get rid of the real estate agent.

there are really many fics where S and B have their own place. "Sideways" comes to mind, also "Fix you" by Enigmaticblue... but I don't think those are what you are looking for.

Could you be a little more specific? Is it an apartment or a house with a garden etc. in Sunnydale or maybe a Victorian house in the UK?

I'm getting the feeling this could be one of those fics set in an earlier season where B and S get to spend a lot of time together without the iterference of the others. Am I right?

Could be, I'm sure of the exact timeframe, but I think the house had a garden and is was only a few blocks away from Buffy's mom, I also remeber the bedroom had a mirror on the cieling, I think, I could be confusing that part with another fic=P I do remeber it was the first place they looked at, Buffy fell in love with it so Spike put down the down payment on the spot.

Was he remodeling it himself before they moved in, and that's why they were staying with Joyce? That sounds like a fic I've read several times, I'll have to go find the title...

No,he wasn't remodelling it. He found the add for it online and then he and Buffy went to see it.

Can you give my any titles? I checked over a few of their fics, (Kari's are very hard to find=P), but didn't find the one I was looking for.

Honestly, I am not sure of the titles (it has been a while since I read them.) I just remember that KM wrote some, I think with S2 or S3 Buffy where Spuffy got a house kind of close to Joyce and that they were friends with Angelus and Dru. For the BSB one I remember, I am pretty sure that it was S2 Buffy and that she and Spike had a training room in their house and sparred in front of Hank, Joyce, and Giles. I looked for fics by both authors this morning and what I could find were not the fics I remember. I know that BSB took most of her WIPs down to rework and KM took all of her fics away, so happy hunting.
