Seeking William.

This is an older one-finished at least a couple of years ago-I thought maybe Eurydice, but I looked through a bunch and didn't see it. Post series-William fic. Buffy and Dawn have an apartment-William is there, he has no memory of being Spike. There's very much a sense of Spike and William as two separate people. Buffy may have brought William back with a spell, but I might be confusing fics. There was definitely an issue of William falling for Buffy but worrying that he could not really have her love because of her love for Spike. It was angsty.

Gah! I think I know exactly what fic you're talking about, but I'm chasing the author around the back of my brain and she's hiding. I don't think it was Eurydice. And there may be more than one fic like that. The one I'm thinking about took place in Scotland, I think. I believe William left eventually? Now I'm curious. I hope someone comes up with it!
