I have flashes of a story and wondering if this isn't my wild imagination lol...

Spike either takes Dawn's blood or Buffy's (not too sure about this) and jumps in Season 5. I think. Or this could be another situation similar, but Spike goes through a portal and goes back to the past. He does good and saves money for Buffy and Dawn and meets up with them again...

Am I remembering too many bits of a story here? I thought it might have been All4Spike, but I'm not sure with the portal jumping. This had a different vibe and not a saga (I don't think). All I know is he went to the past and had to wait to go to present day to see his girls again.

I'm confusing myself...HELP! LOL. Thanks a bunch if you can help!

There is a story by Evenstar called Sons of Aurelius. In that fic, Spike jumps into a portal and is stuck back in time where the events you describe do occur. It's not a long story and the portal jumping is a very small part of it.

I have read stories where he bites Dawn and jumps, but I don't recall any with the rest of what you describe.

Still...it's a pretty good fic if you haven't read it. You can find it at Elysian Fields.

Hmmm just skimmed what was left of that story--only 9 chapters. But I wonder...I bet this was finished over at BS Diaries...and well, we know that site is down. Does anyone have a completed copy of this or should I contact Evenstar? I could have sworn that story was finished. I checked a bunch of sites and none of them are finished.

As far as it being what I'm looking for...it might be. It's been that long and I'm desperately trying to get more clues of this story. Lol among others that are so hard to find. I should categorize them as I get them lol.

So a finished version of the Sons of Aurelius would be great! And yes, I did read a finished version...And hoping it is this so I can do a snoopy dance and save the darn thing lol.

There is a story that has Spike biting Dawn in front of a lot of the Scoobs and Buffy thinking he betrays her. I think Wolfram & Hart might have been involved in that or some other evil that was putting him in this position to act evil when he didn't want to...Or I'm mixing fics lol...
