One of Holly's fics?

I'm freaking out because I've just noticed this story has disappeared off HollyDB's site and I REALLY wanted to reread it. It's one of my absolute favorite Spuffy fics.

In it, Elizabeth was a Slayer nearly 300 years ago who loses her vampire lover, William (I won't say how for those who haven't read it), and makes a deal with a very nasty demon to have them reunited. In modern day Sunnydale, the lovers have been reborn as Buffy and Spike, but they aren't aware of their past selves until the spell on Halloween brings Elizabeth's memories rushing back. Things progress from there.

So, does anybody know of anywhere else this fic was archived or have a copy of it? I would really, REALLY appreciate any help. ♥

Called 'Echoes' - Holly's taken that off from the net because it's been re-written as an original. My advice is to email her and ask if she wouldn't mind sending you a copy? The reason of this is because she has taken it down due to copyright reasons - We have to respect her wishes and not re-distribute it anywhere else without her own permission.

ETA. I have done this in the past, contacting authors for a copy of their 're-written' fictions - SPuffy to Originals, and they've all been really great. So please contact her, I'm sure she would talk to you about it! :o)

Thanks for letting me know! Have emailed Holly to beg for a copy so hopefully I hear from her soon.

I totally understand why authors take down fics when they're reworking them into original works and would get in trouble otherwise for copyright reasons, but it just makes me sad when they take them down just because they're leaving the fandom. :(

Oh yes, totally sad when it's because they leave the fandom. But thankfully, Holly is still in it and she's still awesome! :D Glad that you emailed her already! :o)
