Spike loves Buffy, what's new?

I remember reading this AU fic about Buffy and Spike in college, I believe. Spike has been in love with Buffy for a long time, but she's always been dating someone else. Just when he thinks he has the chance to be with her, another guy takes her. This happens again and again. And unfortunately that's all I remember. Sorry I don't know any other details. Thanks guys.
